Most golf polos are polyester. Polyester is plastic: it holds heat, holds odor and sheds microplastics. By the back nine it is stuck to your back, and the smell comes home with you.
The El Capitán is a classic fit golf polo knit from Supima® cotton micro-pique, with Hyper-Cool Jade® and Hyper-Chitin built into the fiber. It is 5° cooler with Hyper-Cool Jade® and 20× more breathable than polyester, and Hyper-Chitin delivers a 99%+ reduction in odor-causing bacteria.

Yes. The El Capitán is 50% Supima® cotton and 47% Hyper-Cool Jade® viscose, knit as a micro-pique that is 20× more breathable than polyester. It is 5° cooler with Hyper-Cool Jade®, and 3% Creora® Regen spandex lets it move with your swing.
The cooling is physical, not a chemical finish. Jade minerals in Hyper-Cool Jade® conduct heat away from your skin, so the El Capitán is 5° cooler with Hyper-Cool Jade®. The cooling is in the fiber and does not wash out.
Yes. Hyper-Chitin, from crab shells, is part of the fiber, not a coating on top of it. It delivers a 99%+ reduction in odor-causing bacteria and does not wash out.
