I personally have never liked polyester or other synthetic materials on my skin.  They don't breathe very well, makes you sweat and it smells awful after your workout – it’s just gross.

I have always been conscious about what I put into my body but for a long time wasn’t so sure as to what I was putting on my body...?

ALMOST ANYBODY WE TALK TO HAS NO IDEA THAT POLYESTER / NYLON clothing like your Yoga, Athletic, Underwear, Golf or anything "performance" - are all literally made of PURE PLASTIC.

Polyethene teretholite is made from oil and coated in toxic chemicals and dyes that contain endocrine disrupting hormones that can cause infertility, hormonal imbalances, skin issues and diseases including cancer.  It's no wonder we are seeing so much chronic diseaes -  it's in our food, the air, our water... and yes in our clothing.

The worst possible thing you can do is sweat in these materials and they are close to the body like; Yoga, activewear, bras, underwear, bed sheets, sleepwear etc. Toxic chemicals and BPA’s are activated with heat and moisture – which cause leaching and can be absorbed into your skin.

More than 8,000 synthetic chemicals are uses in textile manufacturing. Including PFAS.

Europe bans 1,328 of these hazardous chemicals.

Canada 457.

USA bans 11

BPA microplastics + Toxic dyes with Phthalates, Perflurochemcials (PFAS), and Formaldehyde are just some of these toxic chemical lurking in your cloths.  If you want to be 100% sure your clothing are free of these toxic hazards.

Look for:

1. Oeko-Tex 100, GOTS or Blue Sign certified materials.

2. Buy organic or natural fiber products.  Wool, Linen, Cotton, Hemp.

3. Go naked.

In the coming years, we'll reflect on the past 3-4 decades with the same realization we had about smoking cigarettes: unaware of the health risks hidden in our everyday choices.  It may not kill us today, but overtime we will suffer.

Bio-Performance Materials can lead us to a cleaner and safer performance clothing. Better by Nature.
